Early Sunrise Portrait Shoot - Brisbane Photographer

What an early morning I had yesterday! Was up at 3.30am to drive down to "The Spit" on the Gold Coast to meet Mr B. I was excited to do this early morning shoot and was so pleased the rainy weather held off until at least the afternoon!

It was a great photographic session! Thanks Mr B and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak :)

I loved meeting Jennifer and her hubby and little girl. I can't wait until they bring bubby into the world and I visit again to photograph the new addition to the family. Bron & Rob, 31st Oct 09, Brisbane Registry Office - Brisbane Wedding Photography

I was invited to photograph an intimate and relaxed wedding at the Brisbane Registry Office and October. It was a beautiful intimate wedding for them both with a stroll to the Brisbane Botanical Gardens afterwards for family photos and their reception.

Archie - little 2 week old newborn - Brisbane newborn photographer

I had a Mr and Mrs B this morning bringing little Archie for his first photo session! Photo was delightful and sleeping but then he was a little toughie and wow were his lungs brilliant! haha Thanks for the photo shoot guys! Wowa what a week and a bit.... :)

Can I just say what a week and a bit has it been for me! Last week I had the pleasure of attending August Exposure 2009 at the Gold Coast. A forum for learning and networking between professional photographers from over Australia. What a fantastic forum where I came away so inspired I had tears in my eyes. Is that crazy? Maybe a little but what can I say, I love photography soooo much.

I met some awesome photographers, got heaps of ideas to build my business, and was pushed a little further into putting more and more energies into what I love doing.

So what else have I been up to? I've recently done two weddings. I could up with Cally and John and photographed their newborn who was only a week old at the photo shoot. I also did two more maternity shoots. Yes photos will soon follow!

I'm so excited to be behind the camera and feel so motivated (but busy!) at the moment. Thankyou for your support and I'm looking forward to posting some more photos soon.

Cally's Maternity Shoot

How exciting my first maternity shoot at my somewhat "in-between" studio at home! We are renovating.... I can't wait to finish upstairs and then start my stuido preps downstairs.

I was so excited to be photographing Cally as she is a very yummy-mummy to be and I knew she would be as creative as I was.

Thankyou so much Cally and John for being such wonderful models and spending the time with me to create such awesome images! I'm so happy! I can't wait for the little one to arrive.... not long now :)

New Website!

Katrina & Matt's Wedding

I was so excited when Katrina asked me to photograph her wedding on June 6th 2009. I hadn't seen her since High School!

Im so happy with the photos I took of Katrina. Here is a sneak peak of the Bride. Katrina had a few worries on the day starting when the zip broke on one of her bridesmaid dresses! How funny we all looked sewing up Laurel-lea into her dress. When we finally got the dress sewed, and what a quick job at that haha, Katrina was dressed into her wedding threads and she looked beautiful. You can see that in the photos.

The ceremony was lovely with a unique ring warming ceremony. It went really really fast until the Bride and Groom were swept up in the crowd of their guests. We had a bit of trouble getting everyone gathered for group photos but we got there in the end! The sun went down really really quick but that only then served us to take some romantic evening shots!
